Peru Tuesday Evening

Today was mi favrito! The girls in the community came in for their weekly bible study, older girls en la manana and younger girls en la tarde. Despues de meetings, we went out and played volleyball and soccer in the courts, and let me tell ya, these chicas are A-MAZING at deportes! Pequena girls, probably around kindergarten, are out there showing me up in volleyball! Later I was tossing frisbees with dos pequena girls, and every time I dropped it they would say "Ay, mal! Tu eres mal!" I discovered  that it is custom in Peru to say hola y adios too EVERYONE. About 50 girls walked around giving us besos and saying "Hasta semanas!". It was the sweetest thing!
Gracias to everyone at home who are praying for our equipo. You all are such a blessing, and I thank Dios for you every day.
Holla to all mi familia! And dad, every time the trabajo gets dificil, I think to myself: When the going gets tough, shut up and do you your job. Haha.
  Thats all por ahora, folks!!

(I missed this one yesterday...my bad)
As Chelsea said we've hit  the ground running!  All is well including everyones stomachs so far ~ praise God.  Traveling yesterday was long but God clearly "had our backs".  When we arrived in Lima, we had less than one hour to claim our bags, clear immigration, clear customs, re-check in with a new airline, go through security and find our gait.  And we made it!  It's late her and everyone is exhausted.  More later!  Just wanted all to know that we are doing great!   In His Name!  ~Kerri
