Just spoke with Rob and he asked me to let everyone know they are in Cuzco. The plane ride in over the mountains was amazing! Everyone is doing well with the altitude - no problems PTL. They have some sightseeing tours this afternoon and then tomorrow very early they make their way to Machu Picchu. They leave their hotel tomorrow at 4:10am and have a 2 hour bus ride to get to the Ollantaytambo Train Station. Their train leaves at 6:10am arriving in Machu Picchu town at 7:40am. Their day is packed with touring the archaeological site of Machu Picchu and Machu Picchu town. A tour guide will show them the temples, sanctuaries, towers, the Solar Clock and all the construction and architecture of this New World Wonder. They should be back at their hotel around 7:00pm.
Sounds exciting doesn't it? Please pray that everyone continues to do well with the altitude and for safe travel.
