Peru Monday Update

Now that the playscape has been completed, the team has had several opportunities to experience the community. Saturday they took a trip up the river and went to a jungle zoo. Saturday night several of the team attended a local youth service. The team had a great day yesterday attending services at local churches and enjoying a refreshing swim in the lake.

Today they leave for Lima and will be traveling to Cuzco tomorrow. Please keep them in your prayers for safety, no altitude sickness and for them to stay warm. Yes, I said to pray for them to stay warm . As we are experiencing our warmest week in years, they will be experiencing morning temperatures in the 30's.

Here are some fun pictures of our group. While the pictures of the snake are at the jungle zoo, the tarantula on Charlie's arm is right from the compound they've been staying at.

The team appreciates the prayers!
